Over the years, we have had the joy of bringing some wonderful businesses to Wakefield. From large industrial lettings, to more recently finalising an agreement with wedding dress franchise, Bridal Reloved.
This month, we are pleased to announce the completed letting of a property on 10 Cross Street, near Northgate, in Wakefield. The tenants are a family run restaurant, bringing a brand new and exciting style of cuisine to the area. Introducing Corarima, one of the regions very first Ethiopian restaurants, bringing Abyssinian cuisine to the heart of Yorkshire.
The name derives from widely used Cardamom, which is also known as Korarima (or Corarima) and is obtained from the plant’s seeds which are normally dried. This is extensively used in Abyssinian cuisine both in Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Owners of the business, Asamnew Asres, Rahel Bein and Bizunesh Kebede have likened the community spirit of Wakefield to their memories of Abyssinia. This fuelled their desire to support Rahel’s passion for making traditional Ethiopian dishes and sharing it with the people of Wakefield.
Their authentic menu features a variety of vegetarian dishes with much of the focus on the organic elements associated with Abyssinian cuisine.
Wakefield’s bar and restaurant scenes are continuing to grow which is brilliant to see. Being one of Wakefield’s leading property development and letting companies, we are always proud to bring exciting opportunities such as this to diversify the choice available for people in the area.
